The replacement of the Clubhouse roof begins:

View before scaffolding & delivery of supplies.

The tile is removed from the lower front roof

Access to the front entrance is limited and guarded during construction

Down to the plywood deck

Dumping the old roofing materials

New underlayment rolled out and in place. This surface is adequate to protect the building for up to 6 months while the new tile is delivered and installed.

Opposite side gets old tile stripped

Old tiles stacked for removal. Most are broken or damaged and could not be salvaged.

All of the lower areas have the new underlayment in place. Part of the upper roof on the right has also been stripped and the new material installed.

It is planned that the front area will be completely stripped in the next few days so he entrance can be reopened. Work on stripping the sides and back will continue with some entrances needing to be blocked at times. Once the tiles are all removed the flat roof area will be rebuilt and then the new tiles will be installed. The estimated time to completion is 90 days or about mid April depending on the weather.
