Some progress shots around the resort AND the 2010 second
model is underway

The
decorative fencing is being installed around the recreation
/ picnic area

The
forever wild area must be separated from the guest areas

The
fence will provide security and safety for the new area

The
fence is an updated (aluminum) style similar to what is
around the Volcano pool

The
form for the floor of the new gazebo is in place

This
grass area is outside the public area and meant only as
a transition to the forever wild area

The
transition area outside the picnic area

We
move to the Cafe where the walls are getting their bright
colors

A
little fog on the lens on this one (or Gaston was in too
much of a hurry for the next shot and blurred it) but you
see the various colors being used

Yes
the orange is VERY bright

And
our very first look at the second 2010 model unit. Here
the B side gets a new granite tub surround

Ditto
the B side shower

The
second bath in the A side 2 bedroom also gets granite

As
does the master bath in the A unit

And
the new doorway gets framed / drywall on the A side bath
(yes, all three bath rooms will now have doors)

The
unit has been totally gutted to allow the major construction
required. It is anticipated that once the actual units are
underway they will need the same level of strip down. The
time required may mean a 4 phase process to complete in
2010/11 rather than the 3 phases utilized in 2004/5.
The
resort is once again under a threat of a major storm event
early next week. More updates in photos as they are available.
