1/4/07 The lobby demolition is underway

The main doors are closed

The old tile is removed

For those that remember this is where the fountain used to reside next to Charlie and the staircase

The entrance to the game room is blocked off along with the plants

The sales area is also sealed off - note heavy dust on the old carpet.

The current chandelier will be changed during the renovation

About 2/3 of the old tile is removed so far.

The lobby is empty during the construction work.

Over at Building 5 the tile is off on one side of the building

Only buildings 6 & 7 are left to be stripped of tile once building 5 is done.

The new water tight mebrane is installed immediately after the tile is removed and the decking checked/replaced.
